Wings fire guts the building at the Duck location. Wings Superstore in Duck at the Outer Banks was gutted by fire on Thursday April 17,2014. The fire was called in about 7:20 a.m.that morning. Highway 12 had to be completely closed while firefighter battled the blaze. Multiple area departments responded and took place in containing the fire. High
winds were part of the problem in putting out the fire.
