LADEE Launch Seen By Many Outer Banks Viewers

The NASA space agency’s Lunar Atmosphere and Dust Environment Explorer, nicknamed LADEE was launched  from Wallops Island, Va., at 11:27 p.m. Many residents and visitors at the Outer Banks report seeing the glare of the LADEE over the ocean.  People report of how amazing the viewing was with the weather cooperating allowing for clear skies.
